Some time ago another Canadian blogger was kind enough to outline the recent “excitement” in our democracy. Granted, it’s not the sort of excitement that most people are envying (or not envying) but it once again proves that anime is capable of explaining anything.

There seems to be a recurring trend and fascination of “immortal girls”. Think about Micaiah in Fire Emblem, C.C. in Code Geass, Eureka in Eureka Seven or Nagi in Kannagi.
